Become a Media Sonic Communicator in Denmark!

Denmark is up-front when it comes to training Media Sonic Communicators. You will receive high quality theoretical instruction and one semester of supervised professional experience during your studies here.

To apply sound as a means of creating professional contact between people requires both a deep interest in the effect of sound as well as practical skills. But with a degree in hand as a Media Sonic Communicatior you will be able to produce, coordinate and be in charge of projects in communication based sound.

English Speaking instructors and experts will take part in the instruction during the course, but the main language is Danish. Students unfamiliar with the Danish language will have the opportunity to participate in an intensive Danish-course during the first two semesters alongside the regular classes.

Obtaining a bachelor degree takes 3 1/2 years of studies. Up to one semester may be spent at a foreign university cooperating with the college on the media sonic study programme. As part of the course there will also be one semester of supervised professional experience. This could take place, for instance, in private company in your home country.

Economy: As an EU citizen you do not pay tuition fee, but you have to pay for your living costs (about 500-800 euro per month).

Entry requirements:
- an upper secondary leaving certificate/ high school diploma
- fluency in English
- knowledge of mathematics of science
- you have to pass the admission examination which is designed to test your ear and ability to express and perceive sounds and rhythms as well as basic IT-skills
- you have to be open-minded, flexible, and prepared to learn a new language
